Exploration has opened our eyes, our minds, and for years it has sparked the imagination of countless students who dream of discovering something no one has ever seen or felt. Use this timeline to spark your students’ imagination as they trace the paths that Cortez followed through Central America. Watch them imagine the sights and smells as they travel down the Niger river. Allow your students to imagine what it must of felt like to huddle together for warmth as they explore the snow capped dunes of the North Pole. Printed in full color this timeline is based on the same scale that our timelines of Scientists, Numbers, and Communication are. Use this feature to show how advances in one area affect the development in others. These four timelines are designed to be used together in order to better portray cause and affect.
